The Eagle Villa

Tucked just a five-minute walk from the historic village of Mougins — where Pablo Picasso spent his final years — The Eagle Villa takes its name from the sweeping, uninterrupted views it commands across the entire Bay of Cannes. Completely renovated over four years, the property blends Scandinavian architectural sensibility with the Mediterranean character of the region, a renovation carried out under strict heritage guidelines given the villa’s proximity to the protected old town.

Guests enter through a secure gated entrance into a private garage of roughly 170 m², which also conceals a panic room and a mini tennis court. An elevator carries guests up to the main living level, an open-plan space of about 200 m² built around abundant natural light and seamless indoor-outdoor flow.

One floor up, three guest suites of 20–25 m² each open onto a shared 50 m² terrace, every one en-suite. The master suite occupies the villa’s top floor, with its own en-suite bathroom featuring a soaking tub and a double shower. A wellness floor sits one level below the main living space, housing a fully equipped gym, a sauna built for up to 10 guests, an additional en-suite bedroom, and a second kitchen that opens directly onto the pool terrace.

Outside, a 12×4 m heated pool is paired with a cold plunge just steps from the sauna, while the main terrace features a heated Japanese-style bath held at a steady 40°C. All outdoor furnishings come from the Norwegian design house Slettvoll, and bathroom fittings throughout are sourced from the Italian brands Gessi and Alessi.

Staff are available on request rather than included as standard — housekeeping, a private chef, garden and pool maintenance, and technical support can all be arranged, alongside tennis and padel coaching, private yoga sessions, sailing lessons, yacht charters, and VIP access to Cannes and Mougins’ best restaurants.
